PALOS VERDES, CA — The following is the most recent Lomita Sheriff's Station and Palos Verdes Estates Police Department crime blotter for the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Rancho Palos Verdes

BURGLARY

  • Attempt - March 26, 2023, between 3:15 p.m. and 4:40 p.m. - 3100 block of Palos Verdes Drive West
    • According to the Lomita Sheriff's Station a suspect tried to steal a car, but was unsuccessful. The driver's side lock was punched. No information about the suspect was available, authorities said.
  • Vehicle - March 26, 2023, between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. -3100 block of Palos Verdes Drive West
    • A purse, wallet, makeup, driver's liscence and key fob were reported stolen from a vehicle, accordign to the Lonita Sheriff's Station. The window on the passenger's side was smashed according to authorities. No information about the suspect was available.

GRAND THEFT

  • Catalytic Converter - March 28-30, 2023, between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. - 2000 block of Upland Street
    • A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle according to the Lomita Sheriff's Station. No information about the suspect was available.

Rolling Hills Estates

PETTY THEFT

  • Package - March 29, 2023, at 4:43. p.m. - Harbor Sight Drive
    • A suspect reportedly stole a package from a residence, according to the Lomita Sheriff's Station. The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 30s or 40s who wore a red shirt and blue shorts, authorities said.

BURGLARY

  • Business - March 31, 2023, at 1:05 p.m. - Peninsula Center
    • Two suspects reportedly stole fragrances from a business inside the Peninsula Center according to the Lomita Sheriff's Station. The first suspect was described as a Black woman with black hair who wore a pink shirt and gray pants. The second suspect was described as a Black woman with green hair who wore a white jacket. Authorities said the women were seen leaving the mall in a gray Chevrolet Spark/Volt with a temporrary plate and tinted windows.
